Avril C. R. Knott

British author of whom I know very little. She seems to have only written just the one book, a pony story, and this was penned when she was just a teenager.

Horse & Pony Books:

A PONY OF GOLD
(ARTHUR STOCKWELL 1948)
SUMMARY: The story of Sandra and her mare Fairest who, not surprisingly given the title of the story, is a golden chestnut.
PONYMAD RATING: 2 HORSESHOES

Collector's info:
As far as I know the book was not reprinted. It is not common but can be found without too much trouble though internet bookshops in the UK, allthough a copy with a decent dust jacket can be elusive. Much harder to find outside the UK.
